Each department on the USS Ricththofen has it’s own unique mission to support the overall workings of the chapter. While much of our “jobs” aboard ship are fictional, some, such as Chief Medical Officer, lend themselves to using real-life skills.

Command

The Command department is comprised of the Commanding Officer (CO), Executive or First Officer (XO), and the Second Officer. The Command Staff is comprised of all members of the Command department plus all Department Chiefs.

Communications

The Communications department is comprised of the Department Chief and all Richthofen members interested in serving in Communications. The duties of this department include, but are not limited to:

• Producing chapter promotional materials (flyers, press releases, etc.)
• Producing the chapter’s newsletter
• Producing chapter membership materials (handbook, con door signs, etc.)
